RETURNING OFFICIALS

All officials must re-certify and take a clinic every season.

HCR Account set-up

• In order to register for a clinic you must have an HCR 3.0 account - CREATE AN HCR 3.0 ACCOUNT >

All three steps must be completed prior to successfully registering.

STEP 1 - HOCKEY UNIVERSITY (HU)

For 1st year officials  (you are only required to complete once)

To register for the referee clinic, you must have an HCR account (see instruction above) and complete the online HU course.

Clinic fee will be reimbursed to those officiating a minimum of 10 WMHA League games.  NOTE:  if you are registered as a player, coach or league official, you do not have to pay the HC Assessment Fee (This is already covered under your registration as a player or coach.)

STEP 2 - CRC (criminal record check + Vulnerable Sector) 

ALL OFFICIALS 18 yrs +  MUST have a valid CRC on file with Hockey Canada. THIS MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE REGISTERING for a clinic. You are encouraged to get this completed as soon as possible by visiting your local RCMP detachment or completing the BC Hockey online submission.  A copy of the CRC + VS certificate can be emailed to clinics@bchockey.net
